There are a couple of accessories I like to use for my insulin pump and sensor. Living in Florida with the heat and humidity, at times my sensor tape will notably start to peel well before the 10th day, if I do not take extra precautions. The first item that I find extremely helpful is skin tac. These are pads that somewhat resemble alcohol pads, that contain an adhesive you can wipe on your arm. I do this after showering, before I insert my new sensor. If you are interested in looking for them, I am including the the links to purchase them from Amazon.
The other item I really like to use are by a company called Grifs grips. These are extra tape pieces that come in varying sizes and when used with the skin tac over the CGM shave really been helpful in keeping my sensors on for the full 10 days. I can honestly say I have not had any come out prematurely. I personally like the tape items that are circular rather then the ones with the cut out shapes since those tend to peel up more at the cut spots.
